Steel returns in CN

Former Luminosity Gaming member Lucas "steel" Lopes has returned to action in CNB e-Sports Club's new team.

The 22-year-old became a free agent in November after being released by Luminosity, who revamped their roster with the signings of Tacio "TACO" Filho and Lincoln "fnx" Lau, both from Games Academy.

Despite being strongly linked with retirement, Lucas "steel" Lopes will continue playing, this time in a team assembled by CNB-Gaming, one of the most famous esports organisations in Brazil, with strong ties to the Counter-Strike scene during the 1.6 days.

Joining the former Luminosity talent are former FireGamers quartet Olavo "cky" Napoleão, Guilherme "spacca" Spacca, Nicholas "guerri" Nogueira and Clemente "leon" Tegazzini, with the first two having also played under the historical Made in Brazil banner.

"Now that we have come back, I want to be a champion, I do not want to be part of just another team," Spacca said.

"In every team I have been part of, I have always wanted to be champion. I am not saying I wanted to be the best player in the world, but I wanted to be part of the best team in the world.

"We also want to honour CNB, who are amazing."

The team will make their first appearance under CNB next week, at the MAX5 Invitational, in São Paulo, where they will go up against teams like Luminosity Gaming, g3x and Games Academy.

CNB e-Sports Club's team consist of:

    Lucas "steel" Lopes
 Olavo "cky" Napoleão
 Guilherme "spacca" Spacca
   Nicholas "guerri" Nogueira
 Clemente "leon" Tegazzini
